Wibit Sports, the market leader in inflatable water sports products, has recently helped launch the world famous London Olympic Aquatic Centre to the public.
In partnership with GLL [The Greenwich Leisure Group] Wibit installed the UK’s largest Wibit indoor Aqua course in the Olympic pool with over 40 metres of ramps, jumps, climbing walls, running tracks, flips and jumps. The new course was given a thorough testing by several Olympic swimmers and medal winning diver Tom Daley, who all gave the course a big thumbs up.
The Aquatic Centre will also be holding weekly Wibit fun sessions in the 25m training pools, with kayaks, hurdles and a ‘Wiggle Bridge’. It’s part of London Aquatic Centre’s strategy to become a multi-purpose venue, with not only swimming based activities, but a host of fun things to do for families, school groups and corporate team building days. Judging by the numbers now coming through the doors during the opening weekends, Wibit has certainly made a huge splash for the Olympic venue.
