Northern Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, installed Kemmlit's Classic Cell cubicle system for the Visitor Centre toilet area.
The attraction features 40,000 interlocking layered basalt columns stretching out to sea – the result of an ancient volcanic eruption.
The Natural Trust centre, which opened last year, cost £18.5 million and was designed by Dublin-based architects Heneghan Peng.
Heneghan Peng director Roisin Heneghan said: “We specified Kemmlit cubicles because of their strength, durability and simple lines.”
The brilliant white cubicle system has straight profiled lines and features 42mm-thick smooth surfaced welted doors and sound reducing floor to ceiling dividing partitions.
The Kemmlit Classic Cell cubicle’s concealed edges and recessed leg supports produce a stylish yet functional design that creates the impression that the cubicles are ‘floating’ above the floor without support.
Finished in zinc dipped steel and a durable reinforced polyester coating, the Kemmlit Classic Cell cubicle system is available in a wide range of colours and finishes.
